Police Searching For Armed Man Who Robbed Nassau Gas Station

BREAKING: The man held up the station and then fled on foot with the cash he stole. You could help catch him.

Nassau Police are searching for a man that robbed a Levittown gas station at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

According to police, a man entered the convenience mart of Exxon, located at 3285 Hempstead Turnpike, at 1:05 a.m., displayed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money. The clerk gave the robber and undisclosed amount of cash, and the men then fled the store heading toward Jerusalem Avenue.

The robber was described as a light-skinned Hispanic man, about 25 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 175 pounds. He was wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and had his face partially covered with a mask.
