Quick, Quality Italian Cuisine at Calda

Calda Pizzeria offers diners the best of both worlds. For pizza lovers, Calda never disappoints, and in addition to its general seating area where customers can enjoy a slice or two, the exclusive dining room is the perfect spot for a family night out or a romantic date.

With its original location in Hicksville, Calda Pizzera has made a name for itself in the Long Island area since 1972. The business expanded to Levittown in 2007, where it has certainly become a local favorite.

The restaurant's diverse menu is usually what keeps customers coming back. Calda also goes above and beyond most pizzeria restaurants, offering a variety of wraps and burgers, paninis and soups, and even gyros and souvlaki platters. 

For meal starters, some appetizer options include buffalo wings, spinach and artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks and baked clams. With the most expensive appetizer, hot antipasto, only costing $13.95, the menu is affordable for bringing the whole family.

Traditional dishes like eggplant rollatini, chicken cutlet parmigiana and chicken or veal piccata are accompanied by less common picks such as grilled salmon, shrimp oreganata and gorgonzola-crusted chicken. Unique pizza choices also fill the menu from barbecue chicken cutlet to spinach and artichoke alfredo.

The restaurant can cater to diners of all kinds, but what if you'd like to enjoy some of their food at home? Calda Pizzeria delivers to nearby towns from open to close each day, and take-out services are available at the front counter. Calda is open daily starting at 10 a.m., but closing time usually varies depending on business.

Prices: Entrees range anywhere from $6 to $22, and pizza pies range from $9 to $22.
