Residents Will Decide On Levittown Library Budget; $9.27 Tax Hike

LEVITTOWN, NY — The Levittown Public Library budget for the fiscal year 2023-2024 will get voted on by homeowners next month.

The proposed budget is $6,502,966, an increase of $146,000 or 2.3 % from the current year.

The estimated average annual library tax per household would be $466.51, a hike of $9.27.

Voting taking place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on May 16. The election of trustees and the school budget are also on the ballot.

Registration is taking place at the district clerk's office of the Levittown Union Free School District from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., but must be completed no later than five days prior to the vote.
