Segesta Pizza: Serving Up Slices of Levittown Pride
A look into one of Levittown's most popular pizzerias.
Segesta Pizza opened its doors in 1984 and has since come to be a staple in the Levittown area. The restaurant, located at 303 Wantagh Avenue, boasts true pride in the community it calls home.
On the side of the building customers can find paintings of some of Levittown's idols, like Donnie Klang and Kevin Covais, and through the years, Segesta Pizza has sponsored several local athletic teams. Owner Stephen Varriccio also honors the Levittown Chamber of Commerce's Veterans Recognition Program, where veterans receive a 10 percent discount.
Although Segesta Pizza has grown with the Levittown community, the family owned eatery attracts customers from neighboring towns like Wantagh, Bethpage and Plainedge. Their one-of-a-kind recipes keep customers constantly coming back for more.
