Super Bowl Crawl

The best spots in Levittown to cheer on your team or just enjoy one of America's favorite "holidays" with food, drinks and friends.

Starting today, Levittown Patch will run a new weekly feature called Patch Picks, highlighting editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off and more. 

You’ll find useful lists to help you, our family, friends and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to New Year’s Eve celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girls' nights out, kids party places, parks and more.

This week, Patch brings Levittown the top five hangouts to watch the big game on Sunday. Whether you are a Steelers, Packers or disappointed Jets fan, these bars and restaurants will be sure to have great specials and fun for all.

  • Miller’s Ale House: With approximately 60 HDTVs, patrons are sure to find a good view in this sports fan favorite. Miller’s everyday low prices and comfort food menu will be sure to delight all of those looking for some wings and beer for the game. Offerings include five for $10 Bud Lights and wings with a choice of nine sauces. This place tends to get crowded very quickly, so show up early, enjoy great food and wait for the big game to begin.
  • Governor’s Comedy Club: Governor’s will be holding a special Super Bowl party from 5p.m.  to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Guests will be able to watch the game on a nine-foot TV, along with six other HDTVs in the bar area. Food will reign supreme at this party, with penne a la vodka, sausages, peppers, heroes and, of course, wings. This one does require a reservation, so be sure to call Governor’s to make sure you don’t miss out on this fun. Admission is $50.
  • Cue Nine Billiards and Restaurant: If you are in the mood to play some pool during the game, go down to Cue Nine. They feature nine HDTVs, a great sound system and, obviously, a large assortment of pool tables for all levels. Sunday night football specials include 20-cent wings, half price appetizers and $2 Bud/Bud Light drafts. The new revamped menu also has delicious dishes created by Marc Anthony Bynum.
  • T.G.I. Friday’s: A special Super Bowl menu will drive people down to Friday’s on Hempstead Turnpike, with deals on cheeseburgers, wings, ribs, samplers and more. Favorite beers likes Coors, Bud, Blue Moon and Miller Lite will be on tap, in addition to “crowd favorites” like margaritas and mojitos. Friday’s can seat approximately 300 people and the game will be on TVs throughout the restaurant and bar area.
  • K.C. O’Malley’s: This neighborhood pub has several TVs in the bar, arcade games in the back, a pool table and darts, ensuring that everyone will be entertained even if they're not interested in the game. Great deals on drinks and a variety of sauces for wings will be sure to draw many to this locale.
