Teenager Kicks Cop, Assaults Nassau Restaurant Workers: Police

LEVITTOWN, NY — A teenage girl was arrested for causing a disturbance at a Levittown restaurant, police said.

The 17-year-old is accused of pushing employees at the Hempstead Turnpike eatery. The girl also kicked a police officer in the groin, authorities said.

She was arrested just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday and charged with second-degree assault. She was expected to be arraigned Monday in the youth division of First District Court.
