Since re-opening in October after a huge renovation, Cue Nine Billiards and Restaurant has gone from a small Hempstead Turnpike hole-in-the-wall to a trendy local nightspot. The new 25-foot bar is fully stocked with draught and bottled beers, top-shelf liquors and wines. Plus, ladies drink for free every Thursday from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. When General Manager Rick Gates moved in, he brought celebrity chef <a href="http://spotonli.com/2009/10/chef-marc-anthony-bynum/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Marc Anthony Bynum</a> with him. Bynum has created a whole new menu for the restaurant, and Gates and Cue Nine owner John Brendle decided it should be celebrated. That's why this past weekend they hosted a re-opening party, complete with DJ Stanford West, a fixture in the New York City club scene.
