This week, Levittown Patch searched for local pools that will help residents cool off during those hot summer days. We found pools with diving boards, children’s areas, playgrounds, recreational fields and much more. There is something for everyone on this list, so be sure to check out what spots are right around your corner:

East Village Green Pool
Location: Jerusalem Avenue and Meridian Road, Levittown
Description: Play a game of basketball or baseball at this park and then head over to the pool to cool down. Amenities include varying depths in the pool and a shallow children’s pool, too. This locale will cool you down on even the hottest of summer days to come.
 
Acorn Lane Pool
Location: Tanners Lane and Acorn Lane, Levittown
Description: Located next to the South Levittown Lanes, this spot actually has two pools. Besides the water activities, there is also a playground and recreational fields available for use. The perfect pool to bring the whole family to for a day of fun.
 
Bluegrass Lane Pool
Location: Bluegrass Lane and Shelter Lane, Levittown
Description: A hop away from the Levittown Library, Bluegrass Lane is one of the larger pools in the immediate area. For all of the daredevils out there, check out the diving area – something that will definitely keep those seeking a cool time entertained for hours. There is also a shallow pool for the young ones.
 
Wolcott Road Pool
Location: Wolcott Road and Parkside Drive North, Levittown
Description: Another hot spot in Levittown for those unbearable summer days, Wolcott has all a swimmer could offer – lanes, diving and more. A separated children’s area allows for a safer environment for the tykes. Benches in the children’s pool let parents watch as kids relish in all the glory summer has to offer!
 
Slate Lane Pool
Location: Slate Lane and Gardiners Avenue, Levittown
Description: Similar to the Acorn Lane Pool, Slate has two different pools that accommodate a variety of age ranges and skill levels. Take a break from the water and head over to the adjoining playground for a little fun on land and then head back to take a dip in the refreshing water.
 
Azalea Road Pool
Location: Azalea Road Pool and Periwinkle Road, Levittown
Description: Another Levittown “go-to,", Azalea Road has a pool for more experienced swimmers in addition to a shallow pool for the young children. Besides swimming, the large concrete patio is available for some sunbathing and family fun. For those baseball lovers, there is a field next to the pool. The perfect spot to play a quick game and then go swimming with friends!
