Woman Hit Toddler In Head With Popcorn Container At Theater: Cops
Police say the woman told the child to be quiet before putting her hand over the 2-year-old's mouth; the child suffered a contusion.

LEVITTOWN, NY – Two people were arrested on child endangerment charges following an incident at a Nassau County movie theater, police said.
According to police, a 2-year-old girl at a Levittown theater asked her mother for popcorn during a movie around 6:42 p.m. Friday. Keri Karman, 25, who was sitting next to the girl "verbally attempted to quiet the child," police said.
The child's mother asked Karman not to talk to her daughter, but Karman started to yell, curse at the child and her mother and placed her hand over the girl's mouth, police said.
