📰 News we're reading
• Mountain Top Cares Gets $200,000 to Plan Broader Recovery Services (theoverlooknews.com) — Lexington is among several Greene County mountaintop towns targeted for expanded addiction recovery support as Mountain Top Cares uses a new $200,000 federal planning grant to map service gaps. The group aims to bring more peer advocates, support groups, and outreach into rural communities where isolation, transportation, and stigma make getting help harder. Local residents could see more meetings, job-readiness help, and Narcan training closer to home.
