$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold On Long Island

The winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven, the New York Lottery announced Thursday.

COPIAGUE, NY — We may have six more weeks of winter, but someone's year is turning up green.

The New York Lottery announced that a winning ticket worth $1 million for Wednesday's Powerball was sold at a 7-Eleven located at 154 Oak Street in Copiague. The winning numbers were: 18-29-33-62-63, and Powerball 15.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
