2 Women Charged With Prostitution At LI Massage Parlor: PD

Officers investigated the Lindenhurst business after receiving multiple complaints from the community, police say.

LINDENHURST, NY — Two women were charged with prostitution at a massage parlor in Lindenhurst on Wednesday, Suffolk County police said.

In response to community complaints, First Precinct Crime Section officers, in conjunction with the Village of Lindenhurst's building inspector, conducted an investigation into You Ya Foot Spa, located at 276 North Wellwood Ave., police said.

Yanxia Fan, 43, of Flushing, Queens, and Yihang Zhao, 32, of Sparta, New Jersey, were each arrested and charged with one count of unauthorized practice of a profession, a felony, and one count of prostitution, a misdemeanor, police said.

The women were released on an appearance ticket, police said, and are due to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on November 1.

The Village of Lindenhurst will be issuing summonses to the business and property owners for building code violations, police said.
