20-Year-Old Man Injured, Shot In Drive-By

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — A man was shot and injured in North Amityville on Sunday night, Suffolk County Police said.

A 20-year-old man, who has not yet been identified, was in front of an Emerald Lane South residence at about 8:10 p.m. when he was struck by two bullets fired from a passing motor vehicle, police said.

The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
