21-Year-Old Driver Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree
The car left a Long Island roadway and crashed into a tree, ejecting the driver from the car, police say.

COPIAGUE, NY — A 21-year-old man died Saturday morning after his car crashed into a tree, Suffolk County police said.
Reny Cruz-Puente of Copiague was driving a 2004 Honda Acura TSX southbound on Deauville Boulevard, north of Kenmore Road, at 1:15 a.m., police said. The car left the roadway and crashed into a tree, ejecting Cruz-Puente from the car, police said.
He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead, police said.
