3 Hospitalized After 5-Car Crash Involving Cesspool Truck
BREAKING: Two lanes of Sunrise Highway remain closed as of Monday afternoon.

NORTH LINDENHURST, NY - Three people were hospitalized after a chain-reaction crash involving a cesspool truck in North Lindenhurst on Monday afternoon, according to Suffolk Police
The truck was traveling westbound on Sunrise Highway at about 2:22 p.m. when it crashed into the car in front of it, causing chain reaction involving five vehicles total.
One of the cars also hit a utility pole.

The three people were taken via ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for non-life threatening injuries.
Two lanes of Sunrise Highway remain closed as of 3:24 p.m. and it is unclear when the road will reopen.

None of the contaminants from the cesspool truck leaked onto the road.
