31 Long Island Communities Make List Of Best Suburbs: Niche

LONG ISLAND, NY — Niche.com recently released its rankings of the best suburbs to live for 2020 and dozens of Long Island communities the list. The website chose the best suburbs based on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities, and local amenities. Niche reviewed the data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC and more to determine which communities deserved the top rankings.

Out of the top 100 best suburbs in the New York City area, a total of 31 Long Island communities made the list. The top four were all in Long Island, including Jericho, Great Neck Gardens, Great Neck Estates and Great Neck Plaza.
