$50,000 Powerball Ticket Sold On Long Island

A winning lottery ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Copiague, the New York Lottery announces.

COPIAGUE, NY — One Long Island resident is ending the month of March with a little more change in their pocket.

The New York Lottery today announced that three third prize tickets each worth $50,000 for the March 30, 2022 Powerball® drawing were purchased in New York — one being a Copiague store.

Jay Cards and Gifts on Merrick Road sold one out of three third prize tickets, a press release stated.

The other tickets were purchased at E Smoke and Convenience on Rosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights and Smokes 4 Less on Main Street in Fishkill.

Each winning ticket has four matching numbers and the Powerball. The winning numbers were: 3-7-21-31-37 and Powerball is 11.

There were no winning tickets sold for the $207 million Powerball jackpot, the New York Lottery said, which is estimated to be $222 million for Satruday night's drawing.

Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69.
