Since my initial post, it seems three raccoons have been trapped and left in cages until 11:00-12:30 each day. How is this the right thing to be doing? They let out panic sounds until the guy comes to pick them up. It's heartbreaking. They are left in the cages like bait for neighborhood feral cats to attack. I'm outraged! I'm sure if they stopped putting out cans of cat food to attract the raccoons, they would stop coming. Kind of like shooting fishin a barrel!
