WEST BABYLON, NY — A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Montauk Highway in West Babylon Friday evening, Suffolk police said.
A woman was traveling westbound on Montauk Highway when her vehicle collided with a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway from south to north at about 7:35 p.m. on Sept. 4, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Police did not immediately provide the identities of the driver or pedestrian.
