• Brentwood Man Arrested Tuesday Morning After Allegedly Fleeing the Scene of a Deadly Hit and Run in Lindenhurst (town.news) — A man was fatally struck while crossing Sunrise Highway at North Indiana Avenue in Lindenhurst early Tuesday, and police say the driver fled before being arrested later at his Brentwood home. The victim, a 56-year-old homeless man, died at Good Samaritan Hospital, and the driver now faces a felony charge for leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
