Armed Man Robs Lindenhurst Jewelry Store, Owner Suffers Minor Injuries
Robbery occurred Sunday afternoon, police say.

The owner of a Lindenhurst jewelry store suffered minor injuries during an armed robbery of the store Sunday afternoon, police said.
According to police, a man armed with a knife entered Joe’s Plaza Jewelry, located at 7 East Hoffman Avenue, at about 12:30 p.m. The robber stole cash and then fled on foot, police said.
The male owner was the only person in the store, which is near the corner of South Wellwood Avenue, at the time of the robbery and suffered minor injuries but he refused medical attention, police said.

First Squad detectives are investigating the robbery. No arrests have been made.
