Big Ideas, Big Hit for Lindy Students

Award-winning singer-song writer Patricia Shih visited Harding Avenue Elementary School.

Students of Harding Avenue Elementary School were welcomed back to a new school year and encouraged to celebrate the joys of learning through song.

Award-winning singer-song writer Patricia Shih was invited to share “Big Ideas” program with students from kindergarten through fifth-grade. Using a myriad of musical styles, such as folk and jazz she encouraged students to use cooperate and demonstrate respect for each other.

Students had the opportunity to participate and in some cases scat with her on stage!
