Bleeding Control for the Injured Training Offered by Southside Hospital

This training is to help control bleeding in an emergency.

Oftentimes when there is a trauma or accident, the everyday person is the first one on the scene. Recognizing that, Southside Hospital is offering bleeding control training for the public and emergency medical services community at Wyandanch-Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp.

During this training, people will learn how to properly place a tourniquet to stop bleeding as well as learn other ways to dress and address bleeding.

This training will take place on June 16 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at 295 Merritt Avenue in Wyandanch.
