Blink Fitness Opens New Gym In Lindenhurst

LINDENHURST, NY - A new gym opened in Lindenhurst this week.

Blink Fitness opened its latest 16,000-square-foot gym on 600 N. Wellwood Avenue on Wednesday.

There are 8 other Long Island locations including: Baldwin, Brentwood, Hicksville, Islandia, Melville, Selden, Valley Stream and West Islip.

“Blink Fitness has a really great growth trajectory,” Allen Pinero, co-owner of the Lindenhurst gym said.

Before becoming the co-owner of the local business, Pinero worked in investor relations and private equity.

He plans to own a total of six gyms, located across Long Island, central New Jersey and Westchester County.

“It’s a total 180 from finance, but I felt this is a great business to be in. Blink really stood out and I’m honored to be the brand’s first franchisee and bring its high-quality, value-based gym to our local community in Lindenhurst.”

Blink Fitness, which opened its first gym in 2011, now has over 70 locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California.
