Brewing Company Looking To Open Brewery In Copiague

COPIAGUE, NY - A new brewery is set to open in Copiague soon.

The owners of the Root + Branch Brewing Company announced on their Facebook page that they signed officially signed the lease for a 4,400 square-foot property on 360 Marconi Boulevard.

"After a year of countless meetings, emails, phone calls and two hearings, we received approval from the Town of Babylon to build our little brewery," the post reads. "We've waited a year to share this with you all. Over the past week, we safely nestled all of our brewing equipment into the space."

The proposed business would use 3,123-square-foot of the space for the brewery and the remaining space for a tasting room, Newsday reports.

An exact opening date has not yet been announced.
