America's Boating Club of Great South Bay is proud to offer the public the “Boat Handling Course,” in November and December at the Lindenhurst, High School, 300 Charles Street, Lindenhurst, NY, 11757. These classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to :00pm on November 10, 17, 24, December 1, 8, and 15. America’s Boating Club is offering these “Boat Handling courses,” through six classes, covering essential boating skills.
Learn how to handle your boat in a variety of situations and become the skipper you want to be.
Gain confidence in docking, underway, anchoring, and other seamanship skills. Our new Boat Handling course is intended for newer recreational boaters who have completed a basic boating class and want to gain more knowledge, skill, and confidence to boat safely and have more fun in a variety of situations. The Boat Handling Course is offered to the boating public as a public service to help improve boating knowledge and safety on the water.
