Car Catches Fire, Spreads Massive Blaze At North Amityville Home
The flames spread from the parked car to the residence early Wednesday morning, police say.

NORTH AMITYVILLE, NY — Police are investigating a car fire that spread to a North Amityville home on early Wednesday.
Around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, an unoccupied car parked in the driveway of a North Drive home caught fire, police said. The flames spread to an attached garage and into the house.
North Amityville Fire Company, as well as Lindenhurst, Copiague, Amityville, Farmingdale and South Farmingdale fire departments, and Stony Brook EMS responded to the scene.

Suffolk County and Amityville police also attended the incident.
No one was injured, police said. The cause of the fire is under police investigation.
