CCCS WELCOMES LINDENHURST RESIDENT
ANA MARIA ESCALERA AND KELLY BROCATO JOIN THE CHILD CARE COUNCIL OF SUFFOLK'S PROFESSIONAL STAFF
The Child Care Council of Suffolk (CCCS) is pleased to extend a warm welcome to Kelly Brocato and Ana Maria Escalera and is very enthusiastic about the talent and the energy that they bring to the agency.
Ana Maria Escalera, of Lindenhurst, joined CCCS as the director in the Registration and Inspection Department. Escalera previously worked as the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) program director for the Child Development Support Corporation in Brooklyn. She also worked with the New York City Child Care Resource and Referral Consortium as the special projects coordinator for the Day Care Council of New York. Escalera received a Bachelor’s degree in Professional Studies from the Audrey Cohen School for Human Services and Education, Metropolitan College of New York, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Metropolitan College of New York.
Medford resident Kelly Brocato is excited to have an opportunity to serve and to advocate for families and early care professionals as a parent counselor in the Resource and Referral Department. Brocato previously was an assistant director of The Learning Experience in Medford. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, and currently is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Human Services – with a concentration in Non-Profit Leadership – from St. Joseph’s College.
