Copiague Man With Dementia Reported Missing: PD

COPIAGUE, NY — A silver alert has been issued for a missing Copiague man with dementia, Suffolk County police said.

Narciso Rodriguez, 75, was reported missing from his Copiague Place home at 9 p.m. Monday by his family, police said. He was last seen leaving his home that day around 10 a.m.

Rodriguez is Hispanic, 5-feet, 4 inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown eyes, gray hair, and a gray mustache. He was last seen wearing a red and black flannel shirt and black jeans. He suffers from dementia and diabetes, police said. Rodriguez does not have a cell phone nor a vehicle and regularly travels the area on foot. He also goes by the nickname “Ciso.”

Police are asking anyone with information on Rodriguez’s location to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or to call 911.

Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets and individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
