Creating Cultural Connections at Rall Elementary
Student explore the culture of the Plains Indians.

Fifth-grade students at William Rall Elementary School recently explored the culture of the Plains Indians with the assistance of the “Journeys into American Indian Territory” program.
The unique and interactive presentation enabled students to learn the about the daily life of Native Americans through hands-on activities, games and a museum of authentic artifacts and artwork.
Guest presenters Uaian Bruno and Maddi Cheers constructed a teepee for the students, shared traditional stories and played Native American games that taught skills, respect and teamwork, important principals in the Native American culture.
