Devoted Member of OLPH Parish Passes Away

Recent deaths in Lindenhurst include the following:

Mary Catherine Bradley
Mary Catherine (nee McGovern) Bradley, of Lindenhurst, passed away on June 5. She was 75.

Bradley was the beloved wife of Dunstan, as well as the loving mother of Mary Quinn (Marty), Ann Tyrie (Brian) and Francis (Tara).

She was also the cherished grandmother of Amanda, Erin, Lauren, Michael, Connor and Brady, as well as the caring sister of the late Thomas McGovern, Ann Conwell and John McGovern.

Bradley graduated from Catherine McAuley High School in Brooklyn in 1955.

She was a long-time member of the Christian Mothers of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Lindenhurst. According to her family, her devotion to her faith and family was unwavering.

“We’ll forever miss your smiling face and loving ways,” Bradley’s family said about her.

Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on June 9 at . Interment followed at Saint Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale.

Her funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of the Lindenhurst Funeral Home.
