The 1901 Restored Lindenhurst LIRR Depot and Freighthouse located on South Broadway and South Third Street officially open for the season on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 and is open from 2:00PM to 4:00PM every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, weather permitting.
We will be holding 2 free concerts in front of the depot, on a blocked off South Broadway, on Tuesday, July 10th (raindate: July 17), featuring "The Banjo Rascals" and again on Wednesday, August 22 (raindate: August 23) featuring the "Bay Big Band" starting at 8:00PM. Residents attending are asked to bring their own chairs.
