LYC lacrosse clinic registration

The LYC will be holding a lacrosse clinic for both boys and girls ages 7-10.  Registration will be held on:

Wednesday April 11th through Friday April 13th and Monday April 16th through Wednesday April 18th from 3pm-8pm

This is an instructional clinic that will be broken down into two sessions, clinic I and clinic II.  Children can sign up for either clinic I or clinic II, or for both.  Below is a breakdown of what each clinic will offer:

Clinic I
*Fundamentals of catching and throwing
*Object of game

Clinic II
*Techniques in catching and throwing
*Introduction to shooting
*Basic defensive skills

Clinic I is designed to give children the basic idea of the sport and to teach them basic catching and throwing skills.  This clinic can help a child determine if they are interested in the sport.
Clinic II is designed for players who have already learned basic skills and are interested in learning more detailed aspects of the game.

Each clinic will consist of two days for an hour each.
Clinic I will be held on Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th.  Clinic II will be held on Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th.  7 and 8 year olds will be from 6-7pm and 9 and 10 year olds from 7-8pm.

Registration for each clinic is $25 per child, or you can register your child for both clinics for $40 during registration dates.  If you choose to sign up for a single clinic during registration and then decide to sign up for the other clinic it will be an additional $25 dollars.  Cash or check.  There will be no refunds.  

The youth center will provide a limited number of both male and female sticks.  The boys will be provided with a limited amount of gloves.  PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN MOUTH PIECES.  Mouth pieces are required!  Participants are more than welcome to wear helmets/goggles or additional equipment.  Depending on the registration turn out, t-shirts may also be supplied.
