
Marci Geller is a singing, songwriting powerhouse. Her music ranges from sublime to quirky to bittersweet, weaving beautiful, intimate verses with infectious choruses. Career highlights include performances on Live with Regis, Good Day NY, Fox Morning Show and Better CT, a multitude of soundtrack placements, and international tours as the support act and back-up vocalist for Blackmore’s Night. In 2010 Marci was chosen by Independent Songwriters Magazine (ISWM) as the “Editor’s Choice,” one of their favorite songwriters of the last decade. Most recently. she has been selected as a formal showcasing artist at the 2012 Cape May Singer Songwriter Conference.
Marci will be performing with percussionist Marshal Rosenberg (Buskin and Batteau Trio, Aztec Two Step, Tom Rush).
Opening for Geller will be Kath Bucknell. From her roots in a small Australian country town in the heart of the farming district of Northern Victoria, talented singer-songwriter Kath Buckell captivates audiences wherever she travels. In classic troubadour style, she connects to her audience with her heartfelt stories of the Australian land and its people. Buckell’s distinctive style draws upon many musical traditions, seamlessly fusing folk, rock, blues, traditional Irish and country. Buckell’s earnest connection with her audience exudes a wisdom far greater than her years. Her voice is rich, raw and passionate and evokes some of folk music’s greatest female artists.
