ICYMI: Man Shot To Death During Altercation In Amityville

In case you missed it, here's a story that appeared last week in the Lindenhurst Patch:

AMITYVILLE, NY — A man was shot to death in Amityville on Friday night, according to Suffolk Police. Officers responded to Somerset Road North after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot after an altercation at 6:30 p.m. The shooter then fled the scene.

When officers arrived, they found 28-year-old Elbert Wright, of Massapequa, dead from a gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing.
