With a GPA of 101.1, senior Kayla Provenzano has been named salutatorian of the Class of 2014, a distinguished achievement fitting for the dedication she has shown throughout her time at Lindenhurst High School.
Kayla will attend Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y., this fall, where she plans to major in chemistry with the aspiration of attending medical school post-graduation. Kayla was accepted to the Siena College Honors Program, through which she will have access to more challenging courses and research opportunities.
