LINDENHURST, NY - A Long Island resident recently opened a new bar in Lindenhurst. Ricardo Ruiz opened his bar, The Linden, on 288 East Montauk Highway last month. The site was previously home to The Loyal Dog, which shut down earlier this year.

The bar is Ruiz's first business venture. The Bay Shore resident described his business as a "local bar with great craft beers and a fresh drink menu."

He also said it's a "cozy place that is inviting to regulars and newcomers alike."
