LI Ride Share Driver Charged With Abusing Women On The Job

LINDENHURST, NY — A Lindenhurst man was arrested Saturday and charged with sexually abusing two women while working as a ride-share driver, Suffolk County District Attorney's Office told Patch.

According to online court documents, Milton Paguada, 40, is charged with first-degree rape: forcible compulsion, one count of sexual abuse, and two counts of forcible touch: intimate parts.

On June 30 at about 10:50 p.m., Paguada picked up a female passenger, a representative of the district attorney said.

He then pulled the car over and raped her, the representative said. The passenger was later able to free herself from the vehicle. News12 said.

Then on Saturday, he picked up another female passenger and forcibly touched her, the district attorney's office said.

A representative told Patch that at the time of the incidents, Paguada worked as a ride-share driver for the app CGacela.

Paguada was arrested on Saturday and arraigned on Sunday, court documents said.

A temporary order of protection has been issued, and he is being held in custody on $500,000 bond and $125,000 cash bail. He is due back in court on Friday.

Police are asking anyone may have been a victim to call them.
