Lights. Camera. L.A.S.E.R.S

As a special treat for the students, the Alleghany Avenue Elementary School PTA recently sponsored a patriotic L.A.S.E.R. Light Show.

Jamie Gammon of Prismatic Magic brought his “American Pride” L.A.S.E.R. spectacular show to the school, which featured current pop music along with classic titles, such as This Land is Your Land. The show celebrated the spirit of diversity and exploration throughout the nation.

Students also learned that L.A.S.E.R. is not an actual word, but, in fact, an acronym. L.A.S.E.R. stands for light, amplification, stimulation, emission, and radiation.
