Lindenhurst Adopts A Giving Spirit

LINDENHURST, NY - From Lindenhurst Union Free School District: Many students and staff members of Albany Avenue, Alleghany Avenue, Harding Avenue and West Gates Avenue elementary schools, as well as those in Lindenhurst High School participated in a good cause before the break. They took part in several Adopt-a-Family efforts by selecting paper ornaments describing the needs and desires of certain members of Lindenhurst families from various school giving trees. Gifts were then purchased, wrapped and delivered to those families in time for the holidays.
