Lindenhurst Announces First Ever St. Patrick's Day Parade

Lindenhurst officials announced plans for the town's first St. Patrick's Day parade on Thursday.

LINDENHURST, NY — Lindenhurst is about to get a lot luckier.

The first ever St. Patrick's Day Parade in the Village of Lindenhurst is to take place this March, Lindenhurst Trustee RJ Renna and Gastro Pub Proprietor David Crowe announced Thursday.

The event will include numerous bag pipe bands, Irish dancers, marching units, and fire department and school marching bands.

“As we continue to revitalize our annual Lindenhurst traditions, I am excited as we add this new tradition — another family day of fun and festivities in our Downtown Business District,” said Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11 a.m.
