Lindenhurst Board of Education Receives Recognition

LINDENHURST, NY —Members of a board of education have been recognized for their hard work.

The Lindenhurst Union Free School District's Board of Education was honored by the district’s administration for their dedication and commitment to the students of Lindenhurst during a community forum held on Wednesday night. Each board member was presented with a certificate of appreciation.

The nine Lindenhurst School District Board members voluntarily devote many hours of service to the district and are constantly striving for improvement and excellence in the district, administrators said.

Those honored include Board President Donna Hochman and Vice President Edward Langone and board trustees Linda Aniello, Gabrielle Anzalone, Mary Ellen Cunningham, Michael DiGiuseppe, Kevin Garbe, Jaquelyn Herig and Josephine Martino.
