Lindenhurst Breakfast for Champions

Middle school students honored at recent Breakfast for Champions celebration.

Students of Lindenhurst Middle School were honored at the recent Breakfast for Champions celebration coordinated by teacher Courtney Whalley on Feb. 10.

Held at the Lindencrest Diner, the breakfast, now in its 17th year, honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons including being great role models to the other students and being “rock-stars” in class. They are recognized publically with certificates of Merit in front of proud parents, teachers and peers.

“These are the students who show up everyday, always ready to learn, always doing the right thing and always smiling,” said Principal Frank Naccarato. “They go above and beyond and we could not be more proud of them.”
