Lindenhurst Champions Recognized
Several middle school students were honored during the monthly Breakfast for Champions.
LINDENHURST, NY - From Lindenhurst Union Free School District: While many are wondering who will be the next Super Bowl champions, Lindenhurst Middle School teachers, parents and administrators spent Jan. 29 cheering for the students chosen as the school’s monthly Breakfast for Champions.
Coordinated by teacher Kathy Curran, this is the breakfast’s 21 st year on which it honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school level. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publicly at the Lindencrest Diner. In front of proud parents, teachers and peers, students received their certificates of Merit from Principal Frank Naccarato.
