Lindenhurst Champions Recognized

LINDENHURST, NY - From Lindenhurst Public Schools: Lindenhurst Middle School teachers, parents and administrators recently recognized the students chosen to be honored at the school’s monthly Breakfast for Champions celebrations coordinated by teacher Kathy Curran and held on Feb. 26.

Now in its 21st year, the breakfast honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school level. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publically in front of proud parents, teachers and peers during the event held at the Lindencrest Diner. With proud parents and teachers looking on, students received their certificates of Merit from Principal Frank Naccarato.

“You should all be very proud of this accomplishment,” said Mr. Naccarato. “You were chosen because of your strong character, your willingness to help others and your ability to make good choices. All of these things are what ‘Lindy Pride’ is all about.”
