From Lindenhurst Middle School: Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored during the recent May Breakfast for Champions celebration coordinated by middle school educator Kathy Curran. Held at the Lindencrest Diner, the breakfast, now in its 21st year, identifies students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publically in front of proud parents, teachers and peers.

With proud parents and teachers looking on, students received their certificates of merit from Principal Frank Naccarato who shared with the group the various examples of leadership and generosity that resulted in their selection.

“These students represent Lindy Pride,” he said. “Every one of you has displayed pride in your school, in your community and in yourself. I congratulate you on behalf of all of the teachers
