Lindenhurst Champions Recognized

From Syntax: Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored during the recent June Breakfast for Champions celebration coordinated by middle school educator Kathy Curran.

Held at the Lindencrest Diner, the breakfast, now in its 21st year, identifies students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and are recognized publically in front of proud parents, teachers and peers.

The last celebration for the year recognized students who were part of the Student Advisory Council, National Junior Honor Society and for Lindy Pride.

With proud parents and teachers looking on, students received their certificates of merit from Principal Frank Naccarato who shared with the group the various examples of leadership and generosity that resulted in their selection.
