Lindenhurst High School Hosts Regional CTE Education Summit

Premier Collaboration Event Draws CTE Instructors from Across the State

Lindenhurst High School hosted Framing Tomorrow, a premier statewide educator collaboration event, on October 23rd. The event, part of a series organized by the CTE Technical Assistance Center (CTE TAC) of New York, convened educators and administrators from across the state to engage in strategic dialogue and shared learning around the future of Career and Technical Education (CTE).

The Framing Tomorrow series is designed to frame conversations around aspects of CTE instruction that shape the future. The event at Lindenhurst High School provided a platform for the school to showcase its numerous, innovative CTE programs to a statewide audience, offering a live model for how robust CTE pathways can be developed to maximize student success.

“We are honored that Lindenhurst was chosen as the host site for this major regional gathering,” said Thomas Scarola, CTE Coordinator at Lindenhurst Schools. “It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the outstanding work our students and teachers are doing in career and technical education. The collaborations and conversations we had with fellow educators will help shape future policy, program development, and instructional design, not just across the state, but within our own District as well.”
