Lindenhurst High School Students Flex Business Skills
DECA Club Members Compete at Annual Ready.Set.Lead Competition
Members of the Lindenhurst High School DECA Club attended the St. Joseph’s University Ready.Set.Lead business competition on November 29. The Lindenhurst students competed alongside peers from more than 200 high school students across Long Island
This long-running competition challenges students to demonstrate their business skills and knowledge on a variety of topics ranging from sports marketing to entrepreneurship. The 15 competing Lindenhurst students were given various scenarios, for which they needed to strategically develop solutions to business challenges.
Three teams from Lindenhurst High School received 2nd place recognition in their respective categories. Congratulations to the following students: Broc Brown and David Shrader, sports marketing; Emily Lin and Erica Lin, finance; and Bradley Perez and Adela Marques, not-for-profit.
