Lindenhurst Knights Of Columbus Helping Ukrainian Refugees

LINDENHURST, NY — The Lindenhurst Knights of Columbus group is taking action to help those affected by the crisis in Ukraine.

The organization announced on social media Tuesday that it will hold a "March for Ukraine" donation collection, in partnership with Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church in Lindenhurst and Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey.

Throughout the entire month of March, McCaffrey's office, located at 125C Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst, will be collecting items such as medical supplies, clothes, and hygiene products, as well as monetary donations. Participants can drop off items from Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All donations will be given to Holy Family, who will directly distribute them to a Ukrainian church in Poland.
